Privacy Policy

NIREA is designed around local, user-directed organization. This policy describes NIREA’s current data practices.
Information NIREA handles
NIREA stores app preferences, layouts, album and collection names, media references, provider links, and related state locally on your device. As an Android Home experience, NIREA reads the launchable apps installed on the device so it can display and organize them. When you choose photos through Android’s system picker, NIREA keeps permission to read the selected items so they can continue to appear in your albums.
NIREA does not currently upload your private photos or videos to Planes to Software servers. If a selected local item is deleted, moved, or its permission is revoked, it may become unavailable inside NIREA.
External media and artwork
When you add a supported streaming or media link, NIREA may connect to that provider’s public web service to resolve the title, destination link, and artwork. Resolved artwork may be cached in NIREA’s private app storage for performance. NIREA does not ask for or store your streaming-service password as part of the current share and deep-link workflow.
Third-party services—including Prime Video, Netflix, Max, Disney+, YouTube, Spotify, Audible, Kindle, Google Play Books, Kobo, and others supported by the installed build—operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Mentioning them does not imply a partnership or endorsement.
Android permissions
NIREA uses internet access to retrieve supported external metadata and artwork, open provider destinations, and retrieve user-requested visual theme catalogs. As an Android Home experience, it can display installed apps and host widgets. Widget placement is controlled through Android’s confirmation flow. Photo access is requested through the Android document picker only when you choose to add photos.
Optional crash diagnostics
NIREA does not use Firebase Analytics or behavioral tracking. Public-release builds offer an optional diagnostic-reporting choice. If you choose to share reports, Google Firebase Crashlytics may process crash stack traces, relevant app state, device and operating-system information, NIREA version information, technical diagnostics, session metrics used for crash quality, and random installation identifiers. Planes to Software uses this information only to diagnose failures and improve app stability. Crash reporting is off until you enable it, and you can turn it off again in NIREA Settings.
NIREA does not send your photo or video contents, saved media titles or provider links, installed-app names, widget contents, contacts, streaming account credentials, or precise location as crash-reporting data. NIREA removes advertising-ID permissions and disables advertising-ID collection and ad-personalization signals. Firebase encrypts collected data in transit and processes it as a service provider under Google’s terms and privacy documentation.
Trial and Google Play purchase
NIREA stores the start of its seven-day trial and the most recently verified lifetime-unlock status locally on your device. If you choose to buy or restore the lifetime unlock, Google Play processes the transaction under Google’s terms and returns the purchase status needed to unlock NIREA. Planes to Software does not receive or store your credit-card or bank-account information through NIREA.
Control and deletion
You can remove media references through NIREA’s media-management tools. Clearing NIREA’s app data or uninstalling NIREA removes its locally stored settings, downloaded visual themes, and private artwork cache; it does not delete your original photos or videos from their source.
Children, security, and changes
NIREA is not directed to children under 13. Planes to Software uses reasonable safeguards appropriate to the data the app handles, but no system is completely secure. Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a revised effective date.
